Instruction for Blood Collection Needle
1、Disinfect the venipuncture site as routine.Tear the pack of blood collection set ; Take
the needle out and remove the protective cover.
2、Insert the needle into the vein at 15-degree angle,and blood flashback is clearly seen
through the translucent shield.
3、Puncture the per specified vacuum of the tube can allow the required volume of blood flow into the tube or control the draw volume according to the volume mark line on the label.
4、Pull out the puncture needles from the tube and puncture the rubble stopper of another vacuum tube after the first blood collection finished.Repeat as this way to realize the multiple blood collection.
5、Gently invert the tubes 5-8 times immediately after collection finished in order to make the additive and blood mix well,After the last blood collection,remove the needle from vein.
6、Dispose of the needle and holder according to your facility's policies and guide lines.
